1. General Provisions
1.1. These Terms and Conditions govern the use of this website and the provision of online psychological counselling services.
1.2. By using this website and/or booking a consultation, the User confirms that they have read, understood, and accepted these Terms and Conditions.
1.3. Professional services are provided within the Portuguese Republic in accordance with the laws of Portugal and the applicable legislation of the European Union.

2. Information about the Practitioner

Psychological consultations are provided exclusively online and in the Russian language.

3. Nature of the Services
3.1. The services provided consist of psychological counselling.
3.2. Psychological counselling:
  • is not medical treatment;
  • does not replace psychiatric care;
  • is not intended as emergency psychological assistance;
  • does not constitute crisis intervention.
3.3. If the User is experiencing a psychological emergency, suicidal thoughts, or poses an immediate risk of harm to themselves or others, they should immediately contact the appropriate emergency services or a licensed medical professional in their country of residence.

4. Booking and Service Agreement
4.1. Consultations may be booked by email or through the booking/contact form available on the website.
4.2. A service agreement is considered concluded only after:
  • the consultation has been confirmed by the Practitioner;
  • the service conditions have been agreed;
  • payment has been received.
4.3. The information published on this website does not constitute a legally binding offer capable of automatic acceptance.

5. Fees and Payment
5.1. The fees published on this website are provided for informational purposes only.
5.2. The final consultation fee is agreed between the Practitioner and the Client before the consultation takes place.
5.3. All consultations are provided on a full prepayment basis.
5.4. Payment must be received before the scheduled consultation time. If payment has not been received, the Practitioner reserves the right to cancel the appointment.

6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
6.1. Consultations may be cancelled or rescheduled by notifying the Practitioner at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment.
6.2. If notice is given less than 24 hours before the consultation, the prepayment is non-refundable.
6.3. If the Client fails to attend the consultation without prior notice, the consultation shall be deemed to have taken place and no refund shall be issued.
6.4. Different arrangements may be agreed individually before the consultation where appropriate.

7. Consultations with Minors
7.1. Psychological consultations for individuals under the age of 18 are provided only with the consent of their parent or legal guardian.
7.2. The Practitioner reserves the right to request proof of parental responsibility or legal guardianship.
7.3. The User is responsible for providing accurate information regarding the Client’s age.

8. Confidentiality and Data Protection
8.1. The Practitioner undertakes to maintain the confidentiality of all information obtained during consultations, except where disclosure is required by applicable law.
8.2. Personal data are processed in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation – GDPR) and the applicable data protection legislation of the Portuguese Republic.
8.3. Further information regarding the processing of personal data is available in the Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of Liability
9.1. The Practitioner undertakes to provide professional services with reasonable care and diligence.
9.2. The Client is responsible for:
  • providing accurate and complete information;
  • making their own decisions based on the consultation;
  • informing the Practitioner of any circumstances that may be relevant to the consultation.
9.3. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Practitioner shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses, nor for decisions made by the Client following the consultation.

10. Intellectual Property
10.1. All content published on this website, including texts, graphics, images, and design elements, is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
10.2. No part of this website may be reproduced, distributed, or otherwise used without the prior written permission of the website owner.

11. Governing Law
11.1. These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Portuguese Republic and the applicable legislation of the European Union.
11.2. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the services provided shall be subject to the jurisdiction determined by Portuguese law, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rights granted under applicable European Union legislation.
